Summary — TL;DR

We built Psycho.AI to collect as little as possible. Here’s what actually happens:

  • Your photo never leaves your device. It is processed entirely in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers.
  • Your test answers are not stored on our servers either. They are encoded in the URL of your result page and live only in your browser.
  • We use a small amount of anonymous analytics to know how many people take the test.
  • If you buy a card variant or subscribe to Pro, your payment information is handled by Whop, not by us.

1. Who We Are

Psycho.AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates psychotest-ai.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to it.

2. What We Collect

Information you provide directly

  • Photo (“selfie”) — processed locally in your browser. Never uploaded to us. Deleted from your browser when you close the tab.
  • Test answers — encoded compactly into the URL of your result page. Not stored on our servers.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage analytics — anonymous, aggregate metrics (page views, geographic country-level, device type). Used to understand how many people take the test and where they come from. No personally identifiable information.
  • Server logs — standard technical logs kept by our hosting provider (Vercel) including IP addresses and timestamps. Retained for 30 days for security and debugging.

Information from third parties

  • Whop — if you purchase a card variant or subscribe to Pro, Whop shares with us the email address, name, and purchase details necessary to fulfill your order. See Whop’s Privacy Policy.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect or store your photo.
  • We do not use facial recognition or biometric analysis.
  • We do not sell any data to advertisers or data brokers.
  • We do not track you across other websites.
  • We do not use cookies for advertising. We may use one or two essential cookies for site functionality.

4. How We Use Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Site;
  • To fulfill orders and subscriptions purchased via Whop;
  • To respond to your questions and support requests;
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and abuse;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the following categories of service providers, and only to the extent necessary to operate the Site:

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

6. Data Retention

  • Photos and test answers: never stored on our servers; deleted from your browser when you close the tab.
  • Server logs: retained for approximately 30 days.
  • Purchase records (via Whop): retained as long as required by tax and accounting laws (typically 7 years in the US).

7. Your Rights (California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut & more)

Under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, the Colorado Privacy Act, and similar US state laws, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you;
  • Access a copy of your personal information;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Delete your personal information;
  • Opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell any data, but you may still submit this request);
  • Non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

8. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use commercially reasonable security measures, including HTTPS encryption in transit and modern hosting infrastructure. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Because we deliberately do not store your photo or test answers on any server, the impact of any potential breach is minimal by design.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Effective date” at the top. Material changes will be announced with a banner on the Site.
